In case anyone wondered when Kano give Sub-Zero THAT scar. Yeah. There are two different origins. One from Shaolin Monks and also from MKX Comics. MKSM doesn't follow the canon, but uses it loosely. I think MK3 said that the Lin Kuei did this when he fled to brand him as a traitor. So there's three origins, I guess.
